We took Elder Fullmer to the airport. He needed to be there at 7:30 am and left the office at 6:30 am. The traffic was great going but coming back to London was very slow. We returned to the office and did a few things and headed back in the same way we had traveled to shop at Costco with the Dransfields. We got to learn more about the "Light the World Giving Machines. We returned in time to attend dinner with President and Sister Checketts, Sister Croxton, who was leaving the next day, and Sister Hunter. We ate an Italian restaurant just a few blocks from mission office. The restaurant was small and crowed and noise and the food was delicious. It was raining most of the day and we had to use our umbrellas to ward off the rain. We returned home and thanked the Checketts for dinner and the sister went to visit a friend while we readied the 2nd bedroom for our quests for the night.

We served breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, yogurt, and orange juice to the sisters. Sister Croxton is going home today. She has been a wonderful missionary but has a few health problems. Sister Hunter is a new missionary and it has been hard on her with Sister Croxton not able to be at her best. I do love these sisters. We had left the office at 7:30 am and surprise the traffic wasn't to bad.
Elder Wallace and Elder Ernstrom went to Costco to exchange a broken part of our Christmas tree. Costco was kind enough to let us exchange the broken part with another part from a tree already in the box. We tried for three days to find a new part on line and all they said was to go and exchange the tree. Well, it was a tender mercy that Costco didn't make us take down the decorated tree.
The Checketts had a friend, Tom Christofferson, brother of Elder D. Todd Christofferson come to London for a visit. Tom is a very gentle and gracious man. I think a lot like the Savior would be. He will talk to some of missionaries tomorrow.
It was an exciting day for giving out Book of Mormons for me. I was able to talk to a man that delivers mail to us and give him a Book of Mormon. Not more than 3 minutes later, 20 boxes of Book of Mormon's arrived. I started a conversation with the delivery man and was able to give him Book of Mormon. He was very appreciative of the gift and was delighted it was in English. I wonder if he thought it was a bible. They were all very appreciative of getting them. I felt thrilled that I could have a missionary experience.
We were anxious to get some walking in and took the bus to Westfield Mall. It was enormous. It was so modern and chic. I still have a hard time with the crowds. The first sight of the mall was like City Creek which is outside until we walk in the center of the mall. Amazing! We stopped at a yogurt ice cream place called 'Guilt-free Snog' to rest our feet and enjoy the sights and sounds of the mall.

Happy Thanksgiving! Not the day of cooking and festivities that usually happens but a very nice day. It started out a tender mercy remembering baptism form to take to the office that was given to me on Sunday. I was able entered four baptisms into the system one being Phillip Belcher. who we attended is baptism on Sunday. I asked Clark how old he thought Brother Belcher was and he said, "75". He was Clark's age. Can't rely on looks to tell age anymore.
Three zones came to a meeting at Hyde Park Chapel to hear Tom Christofferson speak. Tom has written a book and talked about repentance and forgiveness and love. He had lived in a gay relationship and how the Christofferson family love him and his partner. The mission provided lunch which was Subway turkey sandwiches, cookies, chips and water after the talk. Cleanup was simple because we had to use the room downstairs because the cultural hall was being used for a funeral.
Plethora of packages for missionaries to have a wonderful Christmas has been delivered. I remember the first time Mark learned the word plethora and used the word for a week.
Thank you to the Baums for inviting us and the Fawson to a Thanksgiving dinner. A Thanksgiving dinner I didn't have to plan or provide anything for. We had a wonderful dinner and made sure we washed the dishes and she finally took off her coat to help put dishes away.
We had a chance to talk to the the girls and the grand kids on Facetime and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. So fun to see family and hear about their plans for the day.

I'm still wondering about the word "snog."
