Spent the day working in the office. Light of the World Giving machines were delivered to Hyde Park Church late in the day. I was able to give a Book of Mormon to the delivery man who wanted to know more about the machines he had delivered. He asked who we were and if we believed in Christ. He also was a believer which lead to giving him a Book of Mormon. He promised to read it. Another tender mercy and missionary experience.
The Bullocks invited the Ernstroms and us to play Five Crowns and then served us pumpkin pie. I must say the Five Crowns is our favorite game to play in England.

We went grocery shopping at Tesco and found a beautiful poinsettia for the Baums. I dropped it off to thank them for the Thanksgiving dinner and found Sister Baum not feeling well. We cleaned the house, made Sticky Toffee Pudding, Mary Berry's recipe. I decided to beat the sugar and butter first, add the eggs and vanilla and then added the dry ingredients and lastly the milk and it made all the difference. It looked perfect. Afterwards we walked over to Hyde Park and checked out the Winter Wonderland. 'A carnival on steroids', is how someone explained Winter Wonderland. We were checking out the place for the missionaries on New Years Day when we reach our baptism goal. We got lost but finally found the ice skating place. We think there must of been over 100,000 people. What was amazing was how quickly the carnival was built. There were metal planks that made the flour of the park. It reminded us of Lagoon but many more people. We don't think it is quite the place for missionaries.

Wanted a shot of my honey! Weather was great but cloudy. |
We had Erntrom's over for fish and chips. They brought dessert - GU! We played 11 hands of Five Crowns before we walked across the street to the Science Museum to see "2001: A Space Odyssey" at 6:45 pm. At intermissions we decided to leave the show. Elder Ernstom and Elder Wallace and I had seen the movie years ago. The advertising for the movie was "2001: A Space Odyssey" was 50 years old and had been digitized --- not very good. It was like watching a reel movie! And slow - slow - slow. We were all falling asleep and realizing it wasn't worth our time to finish the movie.
