Grocery shopping, cleaning and organizing the storage room, made an English recipe of caramel popcorn, played Five Crowns with the Bullock.  Rained hard today, feel  asleep while taking a hot bath.

We headed for church in the rain.  We wall about 3 blocks to the tube or underground, take the Piccadilly to Finsberry Park, change tube to the Victoria line and go to Whattenstow and walk to church another 10 minutes.  It takes about 45 minutes to get to church.  We took for going to church in 3 minutes for granite.  The Primary practiced for Primary Presentation in the chapel.  I am a bit nervous because the children don't seem to know the songs.  But it seems that the children pull through with flying colors.
Some of our favorite missionaries.  LtoR: Elder Gibb,
Elder Rosenvall, Elder Nelson, Elder Klobcic, Elder Gehring,
Elder Mriny (grew up in an orphange) and the Wallaces.  Colemans
insisted on taking the picture.
Poppies is worn part of the Remembrance Day.
We bought poppy pins at Costco and donated
money to the veterans.
Elder & Sister Coleman arrived before dinner to stay with us for the night.  They are the Public Affair Missionaries near Preston.  They are delightful people and we so enjoyed their company.  We also invited 6 Elders for a Cafe Rio dinner with Sticky Toffee Pudding.  Sister Coleman was a big help in the kitchen and got to learn about their marriage.  Elder Coleman had lost his wife a few years back and met Sister Coleman.  They married just over a 18 months ago.  It was a wonderful love story.  Dinner was a big success with Sister Coleman's help.  After dinner we attended the program 'Voices of the Great War'.  It was filmed in the Hyde Park Church.  I have included a link if you are interested watching it again.  The program is commemorating the 100-Year Anniversary of the World War One Armistice.  The letters from the people that served in the war was preserved and presented along with song.  Amazing!  Brilliant!

Sister Peck had provided breakfast, a quiche and different breakfast rolls.  We provided the orange juice.  She had even set the table while I was getting ready for work.  It was yummy!  Sister Peck is something else bringing breakfast were her.  We love the Pecks and find them fun to be with.

Worked on getting out information for the flat checks to senior couples, worked on problems and trying to solve them most the day.

Ernstroms came for dinner and one game of Five Crowns.  We had the delicious meal from Sister Irish-chicken, potatoes, mac & cheese, string beans, carrots, a yam rolled in a paper.  Sister Irish is this very distinguisehd looking lankey and tall black woman about 75-80 years old.  We sit in front of her at church every Sunday.  She provides us with a meal once a month.  We are very appreciative of her delicious cooking.  It fed all of us tonight for dinner.  Sister Ernstrom won the overall game of Five Crowns.  Her first!
I can't let Sister Ernstrom forget
the Big Win!

We have been having problems with the boiler and both toilets.  I talked to the landlady today about some of the plumbing problems.
