ImageClark drove Stewart & Jan to the airport to rent a car and off to Scotland they went.  We had a full day at the office.  I spent the day writing emails and letters to missionaries that had a new assignment.  We had an invitation from the Christensen's to go out to dinner for FHE.  They invited the Bullocks, Ernstroms, Phillips and us to eat at a place called My Old Dutch and have pancakes.  We laughed and told stories and enjoyed one another.  The food was interesting.  They served a large crepes the size of a pizza pan and put sweet or savory on it.  Each couple ordered a sweet and a savory crepe. Our sweet crepe had blueberries and raspberries with three scoops of vanilla ice cream. The best part was the crepes were half price on Mondays.

View of MK Bar & Grill

I worked in the office learning more about the job.  It is exciting to learn how to use IMOS the churches computer system.
Elder Wallace went to two flat in Wandsworth and picked up mattress and other rubbish, to the charity shop, London Temple, rubbish & recycle.  He was gone the better part of the day.  He did arrive home in time to attend a dinner with the new couple, Elder & Sister Dransfields over Public Affairs.  They did the same mission in New York and had a wonderful time. President & Sister Checketts invited the Rees and us to attend because we will be working with the Dransfields.  The name of the diner was called the MK Bar & Grill.  It was upscale place with white table clothes and largest diner we have been too.  I went for the salmon and Elder Wallace had a hamburger and fires which surprised me.  Very delicious!

Elder Wallace and Elder Rees are on the move again.  They moved two senior sisters from Colchester to Gillingham.  This is the third time the sisters have moved and it will be their last. They returned back at the office around 3 pm.  The Bullocks and the Dransfields were anxious to go to Costco.  Elder Wallace is so helpful and kind to all the new couples and drove them.  Sister Dransfield came in the office this morning and talked about what a bad night sleep she got.  She said the bed was awful.  She bought two twin size memory foam mattress to sleep on.  When we dropped them off to their place we went inside.  I checkout the bed.  The bed was as worse than what Sister Dransfield described.  It reminded me of a box spring with wires going across it with material.  Bullocks needed food and other items for their place.  I feel guilty for having such a nice bed to sleep on. We did get dinner at Costco.  Three days in a row for dinner.  Not bad!  (I just realize I didn't take pictures.  I will get them soon of the Bullocks and Dransfields.)

Elder Wallace and Elder Rees closed a flat in Hayes.  I was so happy to see them back at the office.  Stewart & Jan returned from Scotland.  We had arranged to go to Costco before they came and pick up the things Sister Checketts wanted that I didn't pick up at Costco the day before.  Jan & Stewart got in earlier than expected so we took them to Costco with us.  They had a bite to eat while we shopped.  They told us all about their trip and how glad that Stewart didn't have to drive anymore.  They sat back and enjoyed the ride in the van.  Stewart fell asleep for part of the way home.  So glad they had wonderful time golfing on the oldest golf course in the world and  a day trip to visit different sights such as the Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
