Today is Tyler and Marjorie's 18th wedding anniversary.  They have been a blessing in our lives of true discipleship and love.  And have blessed up beyond measure with 4 grandchildren and a new member of their family, Teddy!  We FaceTime Marjorie, Emily, Nanette, and Mark.  We are concerned and praying for Mark's back. Talking to children and grandchildren on a weekly bases seems like we are not so far away.

We worked part of the day by taking 2 beds, laundry basket, bucket and mop from a flat that is closing to the Elders in Crawley.  We also gave them canned food and pasta leftover from the flat.  They were excited as they took out each can of food and examined it.  We also cleaned the mission office besides cleaning and putting belts on four vacuums.  They call vacuums Hoover in England besides being a brand name.  They seem to be the best vacuum for the missionaries.  Clark met the Maddens at the office at 1:30 pm and they collected things for flats in the Stains Zone from our storage of goods.  They followed Clark home and we served them pizza and salad for lunch and sent them off.  They returned about 15 minutes later looking for their phone. We knew right away they forgot their phone and waited for their return.  The Maddens are hard working and dedicated missionaries.

We also shopped at Tesco, did laundry and ironing, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and vacuumed the rafters in the bathroom and kitchen and realised our vacuum needed cleaning. Cleaned the vacuum which stopped vacuuming the studio flat. We will finish the flat on Monday night.  We were going to go to a movie but got cancelled the outing because the move theatre was sold out.  I think Parkers were okay with it.  Sister Parker has the cold that has been going around the office.  We watched a Hallmark Movie and of course I never finished it.

  1. Why are there so many flats being closed? Too few missionaries?

  2. Are their vacuums the small cannister type? That's what we had in France. You never saw the larger stand-up kind.
