We were just heading for Crawley Ward for church when Don McFarlane told us that he was being made bishop today. Our plans quickly changed as we headed for East Grinstead Ward. We experienced a feast of the spirit as wives and the old and new bishops expressed their sincere testimonies and stories. An intermediate song was sung and we slipped out to attend Crawley's YSA Sunday School and to say good bye to our YSA friends. Lily and Jack pulled us aside and tell us first of their engagement in November of 2019. I will save my pennies to come and be with them. Hugged and said goodbyes to many sisters that I love besides the young men in YSA.
We returned home from church. Clark took Mark and Connie to Hever Castle while I prepared dinner. The Parkers and Sister Harkness came and met our family and we had a wonderful dinner. It is the last dinner we will have with the office staff. We will miss them. Connie and I walked around the estate while Clark took Mark on a country walk. We went back to the London Temple and walked the beautiful grounds and took pictures.
No pictures for today!
