Friday, 1 June 2018

We cannot believe it is June 1st. Time is going so fast. Next month we will be living in London.  We are really feeling time is moving quickly.  June will be the same with all the things we have going.  We spent the day in the office except when I got to have a haircut.  My bangs kept hanging into my eyes and I hated it.  Emma cut the fringe (bangs) shorter than the last haircut.  I was very appreciative.  I felt like a new woman with a haircut.  Ready to face the world.  We did make it home for lunch.  The Hyde Park Stake is hosting a YSA "Tents Facing the Temple" at the London Temple and Accommodations.  The YSA will sleep at the Accommodations or camping with tent doors facing the London Temple about a quarter of a mile away.  We went down to check on Sister Allred who is the Stakes YSA who is from Ogden, Utah.  She was the only one in the kitchen trying to get dinner ready for 70-80 YSA.  We rolled up our sleeves and went to work chopping and cutting and stirring or over 2 1/2 hours.  She was serving Cafe Rio style dinner.  We did all we could and went home to rest and relax.   I did finished the laundry and ironing while watching a movie.  We went to bed early because I am going to the South London Mission Women's Conference put on by the Relief Society of  nine stakes tomorrow.  You know what they say: "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a (wo)man healthy, wealthy and wise".  5:30 am comes early.

I wanted to remember the lists of flats we are closing in the mission.  It is a reminder of how busy we have been and how busy we will become.

Picture of Excel sheet of flats we are closing and
moving into between June and July!
