Today Elder Wallace took his drivers test and hazard perception test and passed the drivers test and missed the hazard perception test by 1 point.  He came back to the office discouraged but resolute and scheduled another driving test for next Tuesday morning.  I was willing to go with Elder Wallace to give him moral support but stayed at the office and worked.  I kept checking my watch and waited for him to call.  Finally I couldn't stand it any longer and called him.  I prepared the office before Elder Wallace arrived.  We found out that Sister Harkness didn't pass the test the first time either.  Misery does love company.

We left the office at noon to go pick up Dan and Julia from Heathrow Airport.  On our way to the airport I discovered that Elder and Sister Sanders did not have the key to the flat.  I had them in my purse.  We will have to drive the keys to Sidcup and deliver the keys after we pickup Dan & Julia. We could not believed how wonderful the traffic moved.  We got to Heathrow in plenty.  I am so grateful for cell phone and the ability to find a person with a phone call.  It was a happy reunion with hugs and kisses.  We drove from Heathrow Airport to Sidcup that was in the opposite direction.  Dan & Julia experienced London traffic!!!  Dan had some dark chocolate and shared it with us on the way.  It did make us all fill better because it was getting rather late in the day. Dan & Julia met the Sanders and Wakeleys and we visited for a few minutes.  Afterwards  we took Dan & Julia to see the London Temple and meet the staff and see the London South Mission Office.   We drove to Fyre and Square Pub and had a bite to eat.  A granola bar was not cutting it for breakfast for Dan.  I felt so bad that we hadn't feed them sooner.  We all felt better after dinner food in our bellies.  We came home and took Dan & Julia to meet with the Bridgstocks and show them their room.  The Bridgstocks are one of a kind.  They even had other guest staying over while Dan & Julia were there.  Very good and generous people!!!

I fixed dinner for Institute with the help of Clark and Julia.  Dan taught our Institute class tonight. He is a great teacher with great humility and love.  He taught Ether 11-15 Moroni 1-6.  One of the comments he made was that everyone makes a choice to accept Christ, the gospel, and commandments.  It's a choice we will all have to make.  He is so interested in the YSA and what they are doing with their lives.  The students loved the taco salad and so did we.  We sat and visited and enjoyed one another.  We all returned safely home to get some needed rest.

I will replace this picture when Dan & Julia send me pictures.  My phone ran out of batteries.
Dan & Julia arrived from Frankfort, Germany today!
