I tried to send Jeff Skoubye a text and wish him a happy birthday. Jeff has been very good to us and we have appreciated all his legal expertise and advice.
Elder and Sister Sanders, our new senior missionaries came. I remember so vividly about when we arrived and it was like reliving the past over again. Sister Parker prepared lunch with taco soup and chips with fruit and Sister Harkness made a yummy chocolate cake for Elder Pendleton 19th birthday. A wonderful celebration to welcome and wish a happy birthday to a wonderful and hard working office elder.
We spent the day working at the office and at 5:30 pm we all went to Fyre and Square for dinner with the Parkers and the Sanders. We had nice visit and got to know them. Elder Sanders is was a retired CPA and Sister Sanders had worked at a school. We also learned the Sanders have 5 children and one of the daughters was handicap and died five years ago. They have 12 grandchildren and felt like slackers at the MTC when several senior missionaries had 12 and 13 children. No on is a slacker even with one child. The Lord blesses us with the right number of children. I am so grateful the Lord sent me four brilliant children with 4 brilliant spouses with 16 brilliant grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. (I want to include Brock & Amelia and family and Braden.) Besides I look so young to be a great-grandma.
We went shopping after dinner and we decided to go to Sainbury!!! Wrong decision. A road was closed and it took us 30 minutes to go less than 5 miles. I kept telling Clark to turn around and go to Tesco but he felt we were to close to turn back. We bought food to make a taco salad Institute the next day.

Elder Pendleton with 19 lit candles. |
Elder Pendleton blew at all the candles at one time. |
Sister Gorgas calls us cheeky monkeys and then raises the cheeky cup. We have fun at the office. |

We had to get Elder Tandiman and Elder Pendleton in a picture with us. |
Missionaries love to eat and we love Fyre & Square Pub about 1 mile from the London Temple. |
Great pictures of all of you. So glad Mel and Karma, woops Elder and Sister Sanders made it. You must be treating them right. They don't look too scared!
