Dan & Julia arrived at 8 am for breakfast.  I served my famous Homemade Granola Mix and they loved it.  I was so happy that I had Almond Milk for Julia.  We travelled to Victoria Train Station from Lingfield and then took the tube to South Kensington to Hyde Park.  We got to see the Baums and meet the Christensen in charge of the Visitor Centre.  We also met and visited with the London Mission staff while Dan sent off notes to a committee he is on at church headquarters.  Dan & Julia left their computer and purse and suit coat at Hyde Park.  They will return for a 6 pm meeting and Institute with the YSA.

We got back on the tube and went to Westminster Abbey Cathedral. We ate a granola bar before entering the Cathedral to tide us over until we can get lunch.   I loved that they had a guided tour by a audio headset.  It started to be built in 1060 BC and added on through the years.  3,300 people are buried there and 600 statues and/or recognition of people.  I love Westminster Abbey and the craftsmanship that went into building it.  It is still a working Cathedral with monks and priests.  They hold masses and a school for boys that sing in the choir.  The tour took about 2 hours.  We decided it was time for lunch.  We took the tube to Piccadilly Circus.  And found that there were lots of places to eat.  We finally ate at a steak house called Angus Steakhouse.  Dan and I had fish & chips while Julia and Clark Puri Puri chicken which is very popular.  Dan was very kind and bought lunch for us.  We were ready to see a few more things and took the tube to Buckingham Palace.  I was not very impressed with Buckingham Palace the first time I saw it.  I was tired and it was a very cloudy day with drops of rain.  Today was sunny and warm and the fence and gate surrounding the palace just shone and glittered.  It was amazing.  The statue in front of Buckingham Palace is painted with gold also.  We got to see part of the changing of the guard.  We are getting the hang of the tube and the Victoria Station.  We returned Dan & Julia to Hyde Park and returned home.  We walked almost 8 miles and our feet was a bit sore.  We rubbed each others feet and watched a Hallmark Mystery.  We got a call from Dan & Julia that the train had been cancelled and what to do next.  Just as we were telling him were to go another train was replaced.  They were excited that we had given them great instructions to return home to the Lingfield Station.  Dan & Julia were so excited to see over 60 people at Institute and talked all the way home about the Hyde Park Institute.  I walked them over to the Bridgstocks and visited with David and Lesley for a few minutes. Bed never felt so good and sleep came quickly as we tried to listen to a General Conference talk.

Dan took most of the pictures today.  I will insert them when I get them.
