Memorial Day today we are missing the Skoubye's Memorial Breakfast.  We hope to talk to them later today.  Today is a Bank Holiday.  The weather was perfect for a long walk down the farmers lane.  We walked and talked about ideas for next years Kids Camp!  Will email the family about our idea. Clark cooked a wonderful breakfast of ham, eggs, toast, and juice.  We won't need lunch.  We went into the office and worked three hours than went to a session in the London Temple.  We texted President Gubler and told him our plans.  Everyone else from the office is gone-Parkers to Poole, Harkness to Gublers house, and Gorgas doesn't come in on Mondays.  We did see the Office Elders and invited them for Cottage Pie tonight.  They didn't have one meal for the week.

I found out that I am called the Cookie Lady by the Bridgstocks grandchildren so I made up two batches of chocolate chip cookies.  We cooked half the dough and froze the other into small round balls.  Clark took delivered hot cookies to all families.  Clark is a great a great machine.  He is better than the Bosh mixer.  He mixed the cookie dough to perfection.  It was very warm today and we opened a window in the living room which is floor lenght.  India and Florence would step through the open window and come into the flat.  They also pretended to be very quiet and scare me.  They did this childs play for several times before I sent them on their way.

Elder Pendleton and Elder Tandiman came for dinner.    We ate outside on the patio table and enjoyed the surroundings.  We served and ate all of the cottage pie, baguettes and lemonade mixed with pineapple and mango juice. We were serving dessert-ice cream and a cookie- when Nanette called and we got to say hello to the Skoubye Family.  Everyone is looking so good.  The Bridgstocks grandchildren asked to wash our car for £2.  The Elders and we jumped at the chance and watched and helped a little while the children washed the car.  They were learning valuable lessons.  Clark paid them and they thought they were rich.  To end the night we read our scriptures and prayed on the patio in them middle of the yard.  We enjoyed the full moon as the clouds interrupted the hallow around the mood.
