Elder Wallace, Nanette, Roman and Jeff arrived safely
at Lingfield Station
Happy reunion with our kids and Roman.  It is a joy!!!

Before meeting the Graviets, we were in full mode to move missionaries to and from Heathrow, Gatwick and Lingfield.  I spent the morning helping set the tables and prepare for the dinner meal which constituted of spaghetti, salad, and rolls with Magnum ice cream bars.  I got to try a bar for lunch. Yummy!  Best ice cream bar I have had since coming to England.  We expected to stay and help with dinner when the office senior missionaries told us to leave and they would take care of dinner.  "Go have fun with your family!" they said.  I felt mixed emotions knowing I should stay and help and wanting to be with family.  FAMILY won out!!!  We spent the afternoon showing the family London Temple grounds and mission office, doing laundry, visiting Hever Castle, and dinner at Fayre & Square.

Nanette and family got to stay at the main house, thank you to the Bridgstocks.  Showed them their rooms and figured out the heat.

It was a very good day!

Nanette came over early and climbed into bed with me.  It brought back so many memories of her childhood.  I love that girl!  We took the family to Lingfield to catch the train when the road leading to Lingfield was closed.  We went another way to the train station and noticed lots of people around the station.  We got out and asked a woman what was going on.  The trains were not running.  A broken train had stopped travel out of Lingfield.  We hurried and drove them over to Three Bridges Train Station for a fun filled day in London.

The mission office was filled with missionaries travelling home.  It was hard to get anything done with missionaries talking and laughing and wanting something to do.  Elder Wallace had his day taking four missionaries to Heathrow.  He had the missionaries weight and put their luggage in the van.  Elder and Sister Parker had prepared an early lunch for missionaries leaving early.  We took advantage and had lunch with the missionaries.  Found out that there was still an Magnum ice cream bars left. Elder Wallace and I had one as we left.  Today was not without its problems. A missionary took the keys of his old flat with him to his new flat.  I got Sister Harkness to go with me as we drove to Maidstone to recover the keys.  I was so glad to have Sister Harkness with me.  We found, we collected and we returned to the mission office without only a few missed turns.  I got to drive.  By 6 pm all the missionaries had departed and at 6:30 pm we left the office.

Nanette, Jeff and Roman arrived at Lingfield at 7:45 pm from London and we got to hear all about their day while having dinner in Lingfield at the Thai Restaurant.  Its good to have family here!!!
