Today was a busy day at the office. I had lots of plans to catch up on open and closed flats folders but it just didn't happen. It seemed like I was putting out fires left and right. The highlight of the day was was hearing and seeing President Nelson on his first tour as President and Prophet of the church. At 2 pm all of the missionaries in Great Britain and Scotland were privileged to hear President and Sister Nelson and President and Sister Holland speak at the Hyde Park Church in London which was televised over the internet. Then at 7:00 pm in a closed televised broadcast at the Crawley Stake Centre, we heard the prophet and his wife with the Hollands speak. The spirit was strong and present. Sister Nelson talked about President Nelson and the changes in him since he became prophet. She also talked about how she knows that President Nelson was chosen in the preexistence to be the prophet today. She and President Nelson has had sacred experiences that she can't talk about that has given them knowledge of his being a Prophet. President Nelson got up and said he now knows what his funeral will be like after what the speakers said. We took Elder and Sister Davis with us to Crawley for the meeting.

The office more quiet than usual and I was able to get caught up on emails, flat folders and other items. And I was able to get a haircut in the afternoon by Emma Neals.
I am so glad that she was able to work me in. Emma has been helping me to grow my hair long. I love the look. Not sure on the longer bangs or fringe. Afterwards I was able to stay home and clean the flat. I picked Elder Wallace up at 4:20 pm so we could make it to the London Temple session at 4:45 pm I was the only female on the session and Elder Wallace was one of three men. I loved the session and enjoyed feeling the love and peace that abides in the temple. We saw Sister Seamans in the Celestial Room and was told that Elder Seamons had lymphoma cancer. Our hearts are heavy over this news. We returned home and warmed up frozen waffles w/syrup and ice cream for dinner. YUMMY! Elder Wallace cleaned up and did dishes while I ironed his white shirts besides his casual coloured shirts.
