It is Zone Conference today! We arrived at the office early to drive the packed van to Crawley Stake Centre for Zone Conference. It was a very busy day setting up and feeding missionaries. I had two sister missionaries come and thank us for checking up on them and caring. We have tried to meet the needs of the missionaries and to see a little fruit of our labour meant a lot. The missionaries are so appreciative for anything you do for them. The missionaries sang the Army of Helaman Song with a "Thank You for the Food" afterwards in song. It makes me cry every time they sing to us. I see them as as warriors, sons and daughters, and bold missionaries serving the Lord. As a parent, I am so humbled and also proud of each one of them and the wonderful men and woman they are becoming. I know that Lord is pleased of their service. And yes, the missionaries loved the lunch and came back for seconds. There was a plethora of meat left over.
The best part of the day was being able to sit in on Zone Conference and hear President Gubler talk. He talked about being obedient. I am sure the spirit talked to my spirit with things that I need to be doing.
We had Elder Marion and Sister Gayle Wells over for dinner. They have been living in Guernsey and just returned to finish their mission in Oxford. We had them over for dinner before they went to do a session at the London Temple. We decided to join Elder and Sister Wells on a session to their surprise. We are loving the mission, the experiences and feeling the spirit.
