Happy Easter!!! Happy April Fools Day!!! And Happy General Conference Day!!!

Elder Wallace was reading up on the TV licenses this morning.  Yes - you should not stream live TV but after talking to Grant Neal, who lives by us, said it was okay.    So --- we stayed home and watched all of General Conference.

Elder Wallace attended the Priesthood Meeting with the Bridgstock men in Crawley at 10 am.

We are had frineds over for an early Easter Dinner at 3 pm.  Elder Wallace loves the roasts, gravy and mashed potatoes.  We serve roast every other week.  Sister Harkness brought a coconut cake, Parkers a fruit salad and Davis corn corn.  Sister Davis made a round pan of Yorkshire Pudding.  It tasted really good especially if you put gravy over it. We bought a loaf of tiger bread (same as a baguette but larger like bread).  Dinner tasted delicious.  I wish I knew how to make the dish load easier with this meal but it is not possible.  I bought some gold covered chocolate eggs and put them as favours on the table for our guest today.   I love setting pretty table.  The daffodils are in full bloom for our dinner.  No one stayed long because of General Conference starting at 5 pm for the Sunday morning session.

We loved watching General Conference.  I am so impressed with President Nelson.  He is a perfect prophet for our time.  I love all the changes that are taking place with Ministering instead of home teaching and visiting teaching.  It is a higher law to minister.  I truly felt after hearing all the talks on the Holy Ghost that the Lord is preparing us for the Second Coming of our Savior.  Wow - 7 new temples and one will be Layton, Utah.  Our internet went out as President Nelson was talking.  We missed out on the last of his talk which talked about temples.  We got a beep from KSL talking about the new temples.  We will watch it again tomorrow.

We got a chance to talk to all our children and grandchildren and had a nice walk in before the last conference down the lane by our place.
