We slept in a bit later than usual. We readied ourselves for the day. I was able to get a load of laundry in the washer and the dryer before we left grocery shopping at Tesco. We went into the office to see how much a fridge/freezer would cost and went to deposit that amount into the bank. I cannot order a fridge/freezer through Curry's without having a UK debit or charge card. We are using our account because the mission office doesn't have a UK visa or debit account even though we use the UK bank. We got gas, parked the car into the church parking lot, walked to the bank, health food store, Farmer's Market and the Iceland. Walked back to our car and returned back to the office and ordered the fridge/freezer for Helston flat and arrived home to prepare dinner for the Elders. We also made homemade granola. It is our second time and the best we have done so far. It is yummy! It is gluten free and made with oats, nuts, golden raisins, and seeds. We put it in the car to cool down and is not sticky at all like the last patch of granola. We had the office elders come for dinner at 4 pm so we could watch Saturday Morning General Conference at 5 pm. We served fish and chips with a green salad and homemade cookies for dessert. Elder Pendleton and Elder Tandiman can eat a lot for their small builds. Elder Wallace thought I over did it on the chips yet they were all gone.
We loved General Conference and felt the sweet spirit as President Nelson was put in as the 17th President and Prophet of the church. We got a better insight into our new prophet from many of the speakers. After listening to conference I realised that I need to be more self-disciplined. After conference we drove back to the office to play Five Crowns with the Davies who live in the Accommodations. Sister Davies was the winner of game night. At least each of us came off a winner of one or two games even though we didn't win overall. Davis' told us that we should have a TV license if we are streaming live off the internet. We did watch Saturday afternoon General Conference at home. I had a hard time staying awake past 10:15 pm.
