Sunday, 21 January 2018

It is raining again.  As we drove to church it started to snow.  Wasn't able to get a picture and send it home.  Snow is nothing like snow in Utah.  Elder Wallace and I attended the Epsom Ward today.  I love the people in the Epsom Ward.  I have got to know many of them and they are warm and welcoming and wonderful! (the 3 W's)  NO YSA came to the Sunday School class today.  There was a sub for the teacher and he did a lesson that made you think about the Creation and other questions that seemed to arise.  Elder Wallace and I have time on our 45 minute drive home to talk about the lessons and insights into them.

We were able to take a nap while reading Institute lesson and April General Conference talks.  I couldn't believe I slept for over an hour.  It was just us for Sunday dinner.  We fixed fish, potatoes, peas and a baguette.  Dan and Julia Skoubye called us from Germany during dinner and we said we would call them back later.  We left home at 4:30 pm to attend a Stake Committee YSA Meeting and a fireside after to watch President and Sister Uchtdorf.  Brother and Sister Doughty have some wonderful ideas for the YSA and we are excited to be part of Crawley Stake YSA.  It has been raining all day!!!  Nothing new for England.

Arrived home at 8 PM.  Glad to be home!
