We are on the move again.  We got up early and got ready for the day.  We moved a bed and frame from an East Grinstead flat to the senior couple in Staines, Elder and Sister Madden.  Today we only had one stop to make.  The Maddens had their old mattress and frame out of the bedroom and in the living room.  It didn't take Elder Wallace and Elder Madden long to have the bed put together.  The Elders then loaded the old mattress and frames and took them to the bishops house while Sister Madden and I made the bed and straightened the house.  We talked about flats, organization, family and going out to lunch.  Sister Maddens always feeds us when we come.  She made Stone Soup that just tasted so good to me.  I even had seconds.  The soup had boiled brown rice, veggies, gravy mix and served with crackers and bread.  Elder Madden brought out a huge chocolate bar for dessert that someone gave them for Christmas.

We decided to take a few hours off and go see Windsor Castle with the Maddens.  It is only two miles from where Maddens live.  They walk to the castle all the time.  Today we drove and found a place to park.  We were amazed at the size of Windsor.  Windsor is it own city.  We didn't have time to take a tour but promised the Maddens that we would come back.  The river Thames runs along part of the castle.  It was so fun to see the town, the shops and the smells of Windsor.  We walked over a bridge to see the Thames and walked to Eton College.  Elder Wallace saw a group of students ages 13-18 years old and said he thought he was watching Harry Potter.

After our travels, we went grocery shopping.  Sister Harkness and her son, Josh are coming for Sunday dinner with the Office Elders.  Elder Wallace made sandwiches on baguettes with chips for dinner.  We went to the movies at the Accommodations and watched "Chariots of Fire".  I think I slept more than I watched the movie.  It was fun being with the temple missionaries and grateful that they include us in their fun.

  2. So glad you are seeing such historical places as Windsor and Eton College, not to mention a movie theater!
