I am referring to the helping in the kitchen and fixing food for the London Mission as the "Groundhog Movie"  that keeps repeating itself.  We are serving the same meal six times in 8 days which is ham, turkey, scalloped potatoes, gravy, green beans, carrots, roll, butter, and cake for dessert.  This would be an English dinner. Notice that there is no fruit or green salad!  The food was delicious and the London Mission President and his wife and missionaries were very appreciative.  Today was not as much work as yesterday.  The London Mission did the clean up which left me time to work on Flat Inspections.  I tried to order some things for the flats from Argos and got frustrated.  Will try to do it tomorrow.

We arrived home to fix dinner for Institute class.  The InstaPot is my best friend for Institute.  We did pulled pork that was to die for.  I made it especially for Eryn at Institute.  Eryn was leaving early so I went after her and made her a pulled pork sandwich before she left.  She was very appreciative.  The pot was clean when we left institute.

We are having a wonderful time being busy and be a support in anyway we can.  The weather is mostly rain with lots of clouds.  It has been so cold.  I am very grateful for the new coat from Costco.  I must be acclimatizing to the weather.  Don't seem to bother me as much.

  1. We loved your reference to "Groundhog Day." It was so apropos. In France, fruit and cheese are served afterwards, almost like a dessert. Maybe the English aren't used to fresh fruit. We are loving our training and learning the importance of missionary work. The service you are giving is so needed and appreciated, I bet!
