Sunday - Have I told you how much I love Sundays?  My favorite day of the week.  I love the partaking of the sacrament, talks, and feeling the spirit.  The church is true and we are so happy to be on a mission to England.  We feel very blessed to be living so close to the London Temple and mission office.  We love the Bridgstocks and their family.  I love rainy days and sunny days and learning to love cloudy days.

Crawley Stake had their stake conference today at 10 am.  Parkers were generous again by driving us to the stake center.  It rained all through the night and most of the day!  Elder Parker dropped us off so we didn't have to walk far in the rain. (forgot an umbrella) Conference was not like anything I have ever experienced.  We had heavenly music from the stake choir and wonderful talks and testimonies.  While the Stake President was giving his talk we watched two individuals go up to the choir seats.  One happened to be the councilor in the Epsom Ward who was a copper (policeman).   We were on the second row of the benches and saw a man with his head back, eyes rolled up and mouth open and skin as white as snow.  I turned to Elder Wallace and said, "He looks like he died.  I am sure that he's dead."  A lot of commotion was  going on and the Stake President kept talking not knowing the scene behind him.  Finally someone told the a Stake Councilor what was going on and had the Stake President stop talking because the ambulance was here.  Finally a sister came over and played the piano for a few minutes when President Johnson had the Stake President continue with his talk and President Johnson talked as the last speaker and then the meeting closed with prayer.  It was hard concentrating because you were worried and praying for the man in the choir seats.  Luckily the choir seats are benches and he could be laid down.  I wanted to help so bad but could only sit and watch and pray like many of the people there.  After the prayer they had us leave the chapel quickly so they could take the man out.  They had to take him out the front door.  We found Parkers and went home.

Elder and Sister Costley, Sister Neilsen, Sister Leavitt, and Charlie came for dinner.  Charlie has been having some side effects from medicine and can't drive.  I told I would pick her up.  Elder Wallace informed me that we shouldn't use our car for anyone but missionaries and immediate family.  I asked Emma to take me to get Charlie.  I happened to plug in the wrong postal code in the GPS.  When Charlie said she was waiting for us outside and where were we.  I put  SN in instead of NS.  The GPS took us to the wrong place because of my mistake.  Emma was good about it but I felt bad I had taken her from her family and fixing dinner for so long.  We had a wonderful dinner and I attemped to make rolls with roast, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans w/ mushrooms.  We had a regular British dinner but Charlie said she couldn't eat the fresh fruit with dinner.  "You don't eat savory with sweet."  Very interesting comment?  Fruit is used as dessert. Dinner was delicious but Sister Costley's dessert was divine - it was like a pound cake with nuts and apples and a cooked frosting   After the Sister Missionaries left we taught the Costleys and Charlie how to play 5 Crowns.  We enjoyed the game and company.  We are so glad that we had the patience to have Charlie over.  It is exactly what she needed.  Charlie won the old folks.

We took Charlie home and returned to a kitchen sink and counters full of dishes.  We quickly got to work and clean them.  I didn't want to wake up to yesterdays work.    Time for scriptures, prayers and bed!  Missionaries need their sleep.  We did get to see Emily and Betty as they were getting home from RS Presidency meeting.  Malcolm is not doing well at all.  We talked to the Marjorie and Tyler and a few of the grand-kids also.
