Elder Wallace and Elder Parker drove the van up to London to help move furniture and appliances from several missionary flats. There was a fridge, dryer, and dressers and other furniture. They were gone most the day. I stayed to work on flats. I was able to get all the flat packets done. I also realized that I need to make some changes on the flat packets if I can get the time. I drove home at noon to have lunch and clean the flat. Hurried back to the office so others could take a lunch. I felt a little off today. Didn't feel great but good enough to work. Elder Wallace and Elder Parker got to the office about 2:30 pm. Elder Wallace attempted to tell me about his trip except phone calls and other office matters came up. We came home at 5 pm and I went straight to bed. Bed feels good when you don't feel good. Watched a Hallmark Christmas movie and slept.

It was 2 am when I woke and couldn't go back to sleep. Sleep finally came at 6:30 am. We woke and talked for a bit and got up and got going. We ate, cleaned the flat, got ready for the day. We drove to the mission office and did a great job in cleaning the office. I even had Elder Wallace clean dust around his computer table. Elder Wallace vacuumed while I cleaned bathrooms. It feels so nice to get that job accomplished. We took the van to one of our closed flat in East Grinstead and loaded up mattresses and mirrors for Farnborough sister missionaries.
Elder Wallace had left a dryer in the van from the yesterdays London trip. We called the sisters to let them know we were almost to their flat when they told us that they wouldn't be home for 30 minutes till they caught a bus. We decided to go pick them up at Morrisons, a grocery store. We finally found the sister missionaries, Sister Poulson, Larson and Stevenson after we took several wrong turns. We drove to their flat and the sister missionaries helped unload the van and helped load the van with their old mattresses.
While Sister Poulson fixed lunch we got the dryer going and tried to fixed their vacuum. Put the vacuum in the van and will get the sister a vacuum and iron. Time for lunch with the sisters. Yummy! It was Chinese noodles, chicken with spices. Perfect lunch with it being so cold outside. It warmed our tummys and warmed our spirits. Thank you sisters. I couldn't leave until we took these darling pictures of the missionaries. (Notice 4 darling missionaries in one of the pictures below!!!)
Elder Wallace dropped me off home while he cleaned out the van and brought home a new/used fridge/freezer for the flat. It seems like I got an early Christmas gift. The fridge is from one of the elder missionary flat. I cleaned it out last week and realized that it was coming home with us I could use this fridge. This is so much nicer having the fridge on the top of the freezer. I can actually see what is in the fridge without getting on my hands and knees. Can you tell I am bit excited about it. I told Elder Wallace it was an early Christmas gift.
The Parkers arrived at 6:25 pm to take us to Stake Conference. It was a wonderful meeting. The talks didn't center on a certain theme but such wonderful messages. One was about charity, missioanry work, keeping covenants, and what is good, better and best in our lives. Elder Paul V. Johnson, the Europe Area President spoke. Elder Johnson had all the missionaries with tags stand up. Then he asked all those missionaries under 30 sit down. He talked about our sacrifice of leaving our family to serve and how that will influence forever the grandchildren. He asked that everyone start saving to go on a mission in their later years. Afterwards we got to say hello and visit with him. He remembered us and talked about his family and grandchildren.
(NOTE: We need senior missionaries in the England London South Mission. We don't have anyone scheduled. Please get in touch with us if you want a chance to serve with us.)
We called Emily to find out how Malcolm is doing. We are worried about him. He is not doing very well. Please keep Malcolm Green in your prayers.

Sister Poulson - learned some Chinese cooking from her Chinese mission companion. |

Sister Larson cried when she opened a package from home. Her father had sent her favorite candy! |
Left to right-Sister Larson, Poulson, Stevenson, Wallace. Great missionaries! |
On our way home from the sisters we were stopped in traffic in front of this store called Sophia's. Made me think of my granddaughter. I took this picture for her.
I saw this shop that reminded me of Sophia! |

We got a bigger fridge/freezer yesterday. |
The cold food is on the top. Now I can see what I have in the fridge without getting on my hands and knees. |
