This morning I had a bit of a meltdown and went for a long walk by myself before church. Doing much better after praying and meditating. Sometimes a good cry is what is needed.
We attended the Epsom Ward today. It was the Primary Presentation today. The Epsom Ward had their meetings before Sacrament Mtg. so the Primary children could practice singing and parts. It was a small Primary but the children did a great job.

We had two sets of sister missionaries over for dinner tonight. We sent them on their way so we could go to a fireside. Elder and Sister Charles, a former member of the 3rd quorum of seventy spoke. They lives in East Grinstead, one of the wards we attend. He and his wife talked about Light and the many millions of galaxies. Stars were how the sailors guided their ships home and lighthouses guided them to shore but the lower lights made their ships and boats make it safely to the harbor. The analogy was that the Lighthouse is Christ and the lower lights are us helping others to the shore to get to their family safely. It was a wonderful fireside. It was a poor show of the YSA (Young Single Adults). We are trying to get an institute class going in the Epsom Ward because many of the YSA don't have transportation and travel is so far. We are also trying to get the Sunday School YSA teachers to host a FHE for the YSA once a month. Two of the couples have committed to do it. We will start next month. The only problem is that both the FHE will be on the same night. We are trying to have them separately so we can attend. The Stake President was at the fireside and informed us that Elder Paul Johnson, is over the Europe Area Missions and will be attending the Crawley Stake Conference. We will be able to see him.
We face timed with Marjorie, Tyler, and grandkids. Rex has a piano recital and played for us. It is fun to see their smiling and happy faces. We were also able to face time Emily and grandkids and Gidget, the new puppy. Connor and Anne also has a piano recital this week and played the piano for us. What a special treat to hear and see 3 of our grandchildren playing the piano. They take after my side of the family. thanks Dad!!! Keep up the good work grandchildren. There is a need in the wards for organ and piano players. That is a talent that you can share with many people. I think of Edie DuPaix and Karen Hilton and Charlotte Collinson and how their talents have blessed many people.
