First day off sugar! Didn't miss it at all. No cravings yet!!! My mind and body are in the framework to make it 30 days off sugar.
Prepared for the day and got to the office at 8:15 am. We found frost on the car today. We didn't have a scraper so we sat in the car until the windshield became clear. Spent the day working on flats. We came home at 2:30 pm for a short lunch which consisted of an apple and 1/2 of toasted cheese sandwich. And back to the office. Home at 5:30 pm. I realized that I had accomplish quiet a bit. It was completely dark when we got home. We found a pot pie and cooked it up with a green salad. Very tasty and needed after a long day at the office. Elder Wallace and I spent the evening talking and resting and reading.

We are praying for Jan Wallace as she is having back surgery today. Election Day in Utah!!! I love to vote and show my support to the candidates. Missing and remembering Tyler Bills! New puppy at Morrisons called Gidget! Lots going on back home.
2nd day off sugar! Still holding strong!!! I wanted to get out of bed this morning and start the day. Did stretches and bends! Elder Wallace and I woke fairly early this morning. We listened to Elder Quentin L. Cox. Clark fell asleep again while I decided to read the talk. I needed this talk. My Dad is the most humble man I know.
Elder Wallace and I spent the day in Trowbridge near Bristol. Trowbridge is nice little town of 33,000 people. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get there but we were able to deliver a washing machine to two excited elders. They have been washing their clothes in the sink for two months. After Elder Wallace installed the new washer we took Elder Kam and Elder Cheong out for lunch. Elder Kam is from Hong Kong and Elder Cheong is from Macau, China. We let the Elders pick the place for lunch. They want to go to Tobys because its an all you can eat buffet. Elder Kam went back two times but Elder Cheong has a a skinny hollow body that allowed him to go back for 3 large helpings of food. The buffet was nothing compared to back home. Tobys allows you to go through once for meat and then all you want for vegetables. They had four different kinds of potatoes, carrots, cauliflower with a sauce, and peas (they serve peas for everything in England) beside several different kinds of gravies. All of the vegetables were hot dishes. There was no fruit and fruit salads which was a bit strange since we have lots of fruit and fruit salads. Also, no rolls just Yorkshire Pudding. They did offer us dessert but we turned it down. It was fun visiting with the Elders.
Elder Wallace had researched a place to take the washing machine so we didn't have to bring it all the way home with us. Love GPS-don't know what we would do without it! We finally started for home about 3 PM. It started to get darker with all the gray clouds. We did run into some slow traffic. I got a call from the Pearces who found two flats for their missionaries and need me to jump on it. I need to move fast and get an offer tonight. I called Sister Harkness to go to the office and I would talk her through the process of opening a flat. She was very sweet and did it for me except. I would be home in a half and hour. We talked for 15 minutes. As we were talking Elder Wallace took a wrong turn and we drove for another 45 minutes. We made it to the mission office just before 7 pm. I was able to get all the paperwork in by 7:45 pm. They were closing the letting office at 8 pm. Busy day on the road. Didn't see a whole lot of the country because of the weather.
