Elder Wallace and I learned how to close a flat today.  We went with Elder and Sister Corbett to Chippenham, near Bristol and Bath to close a missionary flat.  We had to move furniture to take to another flat.  It took 2 1/2 hours to travel to Chippenham and the same coming back.  The mission owns a van to move furniture.  We have not seen a truck where we live.  We see vans and semi-trailers but not trucks.  We got a couch, 2 bunk beds with mattresses, 2 tables, 3 chairs, 2 bookshelves and kitchen things.  Notice Elder Wallace took the back seat to get the leg room but not an inch to spare.  I didn't think we would get it all in.  I tried to tell them Elder Wallace and I could ride the train back.

Elder and Sister Hatch packed up the apartment before we came.  We helped pack the rest of the kitchen and washed out the cupboards, walls, and door.  I helped vacuumed the living room. Elder Bell and Elder Bos helped moved the furniture into the van.  Afterwards we all went to McDonald's.

We arrived at the mission office and went to dinner celebrating the release of Elder and Sister Lockhart.   Lockharts are leaving first thing in the morning. The have been YSA missionaries.  Elder Lockhart reminded us of Rick Bullock. We went to eat at "Smith and Western".  The food was delicious/  Elder Wallace and I shared a entree.

Elder Wallace and I started out with a lovely walk first thing.  It was hazy and moist morning with
clouds in all directions.  There was no wind at all but a fog surround us while the clouds hung low.  We walked over 2 miles.  Spent the day in the office training except when we tried to get a bank account.  It takes over 45 minutes to set up an account.  The staff was very instructional and mindful of what is happening.

Elder Wallace drove to Crawley to see the church tomorrow night and get instructions on YSA.  We stopped at Torso for hair dryer for myself.  I have to use the one across the way.  Driving is quite the experience.  We are so thankful for GPS.

Time for bed!!!  I am falling asleep
