Day 3 of Zone Conference reminds me of 'Ground Hog Day' movie that the same things keep happening over and over each day.  Pizza and salad is getting old.  Grateful for the help from Sister Ernstrom preparing the food.  Came home and started packing to move.  We brought home boxes and packed up all of our stuff from the kitchen.  I cannot believe how many things we have collected and knowing that we won't be bringing anything home but two suitcases.   We also got a text from Amy Heaps that she is in London and wants to take us to dinner on Friday night. A little while later we got a call from Mike Seipel that he and his wife are in England and wants to come visit us on Friday night at 9 pm.  We are excited to see friends and will make whatever time available to see them especially for Amy.  She is family to us.

We were off in the van early.  I mean early like 6:30 am.  Elder Wallace wanted to get an early start and he had an appointment to see a flat in Hayward Heath for a new couple that is coming on a mission.  They will be the new YSA in Crawley.  We first stopped at the London Temple and loaded the van with four file cabinets to take to the London office.  Then to East Grinstead to pick up a box of printed material for the missionaries.  As you can see that we took E. Wallace and I were a threesome home.  We visited a flat but I was not impressed with the bedrooms and how small they were.  Elder Wallace is under pressure to get a flat for the new couple coming in two weeks.

Dinner with Amy Heaps at Sally Clarke's Restaurant was such a nice treat.  Sally's is a small and personal restaurant with white cotton table clothes.  Very posh and very nice!  I felt a little out of place wearing pants.   We got to meet the owner and chef of the restaurant.  She has written several cookbooks and has them on sale.  Sally came to our table and visited with us.  The food was taste and the pear pie was delicious.  Afterwards Amy took us back to Hyde Park Church in a taxi - our first taxi ride.  What a wonderful evening with Amy.  We hugged and said our good byes.  She was flying home to Columbus, Ohio first thing in the morning.  We walked into the Hyde Park Chapel to visit with Mike Seipel and his wife.  It was so fun talking to them but I couldn't keep focused because I was so tired.   I was asleep as I put my head on the pillow.
