We were up early to prepare for YSA Grand Tour.  I was in charge of the baguettes, meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers for 50 people.  Lesley is helping me cook the half-baked baguettes.  We needed to be at the East Grinstead church by 9 am when sisters were coming to help put meat and cheese trays together. Institute Graduation was during Priesthood/RS Meeting.  Diego got his Certificate of Graduation for Institute.  So proud of Diego.  We had about 30 YSA today.  A good showing.  Grand Tour turned out fun for those who stayed.  We did lose a few YSA after church and two of them live right by me and I was able to ask them what they thought about the Grand Tour today.  I was surprised at their openness to tell me their feelings about church and their experiences.  (It was not good!)  I asked other YSA and they loved it.  We didn't get home till after 4 pm.  Charlie and Patu came over for games.  We laughed and enjoyed these young people.  I think it is getting serious with marriage in the future.  Last of all - we got to talk to Emily and Nanette.  Emily is doing well and is doing rice for 200 and wanted help with proportions. She has a handle on the situation.  We also got to talk to all the grandchildren for a few minutes.  Nanette is in Prague and had her first bike ride today.  She was tired and didn't realise there would be so many hills.  We will talk tomorrow.

Kayla, Diego, and Eryn cut
the Graduation cake from Institute!

Diego got his Certificate of Graduation of Institute.
The only one to get it from Crawley Stake.
So proud of one of our YSA's

Clark passed his driving test!!!  YAY!!!  I am so excited and very grateful that Clark passed.  Clark has been worried about it for a few months.  Prayers are answered!  Elder Parker and I worked on rents. We arrived at the office at 9:20 am and that is when the phones rang and people stopped over to visit or ask for help.  I had a big problem with a flat that is closing and it happened to be my fault.  I had to eat humble pie and remember that I am not perfect.  I am contacting the legal office tomorrow to see if there is any recourse.  We were able to get away for lunch for a few minutes and I was able to finish up some laundry.   We returned to the office and Clark took a load of furniture to the Furnistore.  The charity shop was so grateful and pleased to get the dressers, bed and other items.  We are very grateful they will take our things.  It is a win-win!

We were invited out to the Thai Restaurant by Elder and Sister Beauchamps.  They are returning home from their mission tomorrow after taking a trip to Israel.  We got to hear travels of the holy land and what it meant to them.  Okay-I am ready to travel to Israel.  We tried two new dishes today.  Sorry, couldn't name them but one was a beef dish and my dish came in 1/2 pineapple as the dish with rice, curry chicken, shrimp and other veggies.  Our food was delicious.  We arrived home to take a long walk.  Felt good to move after sitting all day.  Clark is listening to different musicals and having me guess what it is. I am doing pretty good.

Nanette sent text that she was so tired she was going to bed.  She did send a picture of a lake that was beautiful.

The office sisters got the message to wear blue and white today!
Sister Gorgas realised we were all were wearing blue.
Had to have a picture.  Will be one of our last.
Mission will close 1st of July.

  1. Why is Nanette in Prague and is she alone? Who goes biking in a strange city?
