Elder and Sister Steverson arrived today be the senior couple in Staines and do YSA. They said they had already talked to Elder and Sister Skoubye about their mission and what is expected of them. We were in charge of the luncheon and drove to Tesco for rolls for the chicken salad. We got up early to make a wonderful waldrof salad. Sister Parker bought ice cream. The plane was on time but the wait through costumes was long. Everyone arrived late. President and Sister Gubler interviewed the Seversons while we tried to keep busy in the office. The Seversons are wonderful people from Arkansa. He worked for Walmart and lived in Japan for 3 years.
We cleaned up from lunch and drove to Lansing to sign a contract for a flat Worthing for the missionaries. After signing the contract we met the Elders at their old flat and drove to the new flat. They were so excited about the flat they had picked. They asked me if they did a good job in finding a flat. I was very appreciative of their efforts. It was a very nice flat but had no kitchen appliances. I need to buy a stove – which is the first purchase of the stove I have had to make.
We arrived home from a full day and decided to unwind and relax with a walk in the country. I love our walks and will miss the peace and quiet and the grass and corn growing and the planes that land into Gatwick that fly over our heads. (okay - that part is not quiet but the air planes are majestic and amazing as we watch them lower their wheels to land.) As we were walking we noticed that the cows were noticing us and started to come to us. Some of the cows in the other end of the field started to run to meet us. This event does not happen in the morning walks. We returned to home tired and happy and ready to put up or feet for a few minutes. We fell asleep watching a Hallmark Movie. We woke and prepared for bed. At least we didn't fall asleep reading scriptures.

We had something similar happen to us when we stopped by a cow pasture in Switzerland to take a picture. We were with the Larsons. The cows on the other side of the field started running toward us! They stopped just short of the wire fence and stared at us.
