Monday, 8 January 2017

Got up and feeling better than the last week.  I have list of things that needs to be done at the office.  8 am I went with Sister Neilsen  to take her driving test.  Her companion, Sister Leavitt was with us.  Sister Neilsen drove our car to the appointment.  The driving test took 35 minutes and Sister Leavitt and I did not say word but had a prayer in our hearts for Sister Neilsen.  At the end of the test, the man had Sister Neilsen park.  He said it would take a few minutes and he did some paperwork and said, "You passed."  We all started cheering!  Some of the elders have taken up to six times to pass the driving test.

Clark had another busy day at the office.  He was coming and going besides working on the computer.  I couldn't keep track of him.

We came home just before 5 pm.  Lesley brought us some soup.  It was green!  A colorful green. The soup had never tasted so good and was divine.  It was potatoes, spinach, and whatever.  It was creamed soup but soooo good. There was a little left for Tuesday.  Clark helped me mix up two batches of cookies for Zone Conference the next day.  Didn't turn out as good as the last batch I did.  Our sweet Emily called and turned her phone over to Bette Brown.  It was so good to talk to my dear and cherished friend.  Clark continued to bake cookies while we visited.  Bette was left to babysit Kate and Claire while Emily went to pick up Malcolm Green.  So glad he is doing better.

I hit the wall at 7:30 pm.  I climbed into bed thinking I would take a hour rest and woke at 3 am in the morning.
