Last day for serving Christmas dinner to the missionaries of the London Mission. We served over 75 dinners and we were so happy that the dinner went without a hitch. The a real worry was that Sister Lock was not available to help in the kitchen because Elder Lock, Visitor Centre Director, had pains in his chest and was taken to the hospital. Elder Lock had been talking to me about his doctor appointment the day before because of chest pains and the doctor didn't do a thing but tell him it was acid reflex. I told him that it was serious and the next time he had pain he need to go to the hospital. They found out that Elder Lock has a block artery.
Elder and Sister Stevens were so appreciative of our hosting the dinner for their mission. It did turn out special. They gave all workers cookies to thank us. Bonnie - this picture is for you. Elder and Sister Stevens are special people.

Elder and Sister Evans are in charge of Pathway in the Mission. They have connection in with several people we know: Dan Bradshaw and Stewart Wallace. |
I drove home at 5 pm to get dinner cooked for Institute while Elder Wallace drove missionaries to Lingfield Train Station. We did spaghetti and meatballs w/green salad. We brought a Costco cake with us left over from the dinner. Elder and Sister Doughty brought drinks and desserts. Yummy! Here are pictures of some of the YSA that comes to Institute.
