Up and out early again today! The mission office is in charge of its third dinner for the London South Mission. Elder Wallace did three runs to Lingfield in the morning and three runs to Lingfield in the evening. I did one run to Lingfield Train Station also this evening. I spent the day setting tables, cutting carrots, putting turkey on plates, serving cake besides clean up. I was able to hear President and Sister Gubler speak to the missionaries. It was very inspiring. Last Christmas before attending the temple the missionaries were to come to the temple praying for what goal to set for the year for bringing souls to Christ in 2017. They decided that 280 baptisms is what the Lord wanted them to have this year. The mission is at 263 with more baptisms coming before the end of the year. It looks like they are going to meet their gift to the Lord with 280 baptisms. At first I was a bit skeptical of what was taking place. The year before they had 201 baptisms. But I can see and hear the miracles that are taking place and seeing how hard all the missionaries are working. We are praying for the missionaries friend to come to Christ.
We didn't need dinner tonight after the big meal at 2 pm. We called Emily to check on Malcolm. She had a friend over and we talked for a few minutes. We called Emily later and talked to Kate and threw kisses to Claire and heard the dog in the background. Kate cried over a toy the dog had chewed up. Emily was baking cookies for David's home teaching families. I told Emily to enjoy this time because it passes so quickly.
We went grocery shopping for the YSA. We could not find frozen meatballs but found fresh one in the meat department. We also bought jello. Not at all like our dry jello in box. It comes like a jell or a very stiff jigglers. I want to make pretzel salad for dinner on Sunday for Christmas Ever at the Gulbers. It is so different from ours. We came home and made the jello. Results will be tomorrow. We are going to the President and Sister Gublers for dinner and taking Sister DeArden with us. Sister DeArden is President Gubler's sister and will be staying over a few days with them.
I got my printer working today. I ordered the print cartridges and they came today. Now I can print my recipes off when I need them.
Was Sister DeArden staying with you? Why would you have to take her with you? I've never hear of Christmas Ever...
